A little poem I wrote about myself...a couple of years ago when I was struggling.....

Who is Paula?

Paula is a Native-Oregonian

Born at the end of the Oregon Trail in

Oregon City, Oregon

Paula always dreamed of being more-

Paula always dreamed of just "being"

Paula is "just"

Paula is Paula

Here's another poem I wrote back in June of 2003, while I was visiting family in Medford, Oregon:

Home

Thank you Lord for this call to pray -

To be loved so dearly; to be whisked away

Life is too short to be going it alone -

On bended knee there is connection - I'm Home!

Home is His presence when praying to Thee

Home is His loving embrace - it is where I want to be

Expressions of love - for me -- I hear Him say,

Words only He knows, that make my heart want to stay

At the sight of His feet, His hands, His face

I know this - deep love I have for HIM can never be replaced.

This Savior, My Jesus, lover of my soul

Has washed and cleansed me and made me whole.

So, Home to me is not a place, here or there,

For He is here in my heart, calling me to prayer.
