A Proud Mom

Where did the time go? It just seemed like only yesterday that I brought my daughter Nicole home from the hospital. She's 17 years old and is sooo grown up! I'm so proud of the beautiful young woman she has become. And today was no exception!

Today was our "Mother/Daughter Day".....I'm enjoying every moment that I get with her because I know there will come a time when like a butterfly....she will spread her wings and fly away. She is so kind and very poised (yep...I'm bragging about her...but isn't that what Mothers are supposed to do?).

We went to Joseph Photography this morning to take her Senior Pictures. She was absolutely gorgeous as Joseph let me look through the lens of his camera. What a beauty she is, not just only on the outside but on the inside too.

She has such a heart to serve others and loves the Lord so much and wants to please Him.

I continue to pray for her mate, whoever that will be, that He will love her deeply and love the Lord too!

I took her with me to PSU today and she got a PSU sweatshirt. Which she will proudly wear and I'm sure tell everyone her mother goes there.....did I say that I loved the school? Oh yea...I already did say that in another blog!

Nicole said that when we take our trip to Hawaii in November that she will get a University of Hawaii sweatshirt there too....to add to her collegiate clothing collection.

Of course that's what she said this week! Next week she could change her mind, yet again....and we could be looking for an OSU sweatshirt (Go BEAVS!! Her Dad's alma mater!)
